lyrics
Thinking back to the start
There was fire in your heart
You’ll never know
How close you were
When the real trouble starts
When it all falls apart
You vagabond
Where have you gone
Where is home
For the cold and the grey
Where is home
For the lone runaway
Nowhere to be found
Final comedown
As if you know your destiny
Nowhere to be found
Final meltdown
As if you know your destiny
With it all on the line
And a mountain to climb
You gave it all
Tore down the walls
But you wanted to stop
Before reaching the top
Let out a scream
And fled the scene
Where is home
For the cold and the grey
Where is home
For the lone runaway
Nowhere to be found
Final comedown
As if you know your destiny
Nowhere to be found
Final meltdown
And you don’t know your destiny
I can't put words on what's happening in this band since the release of Nucleus. They've found the perfect sound with a strong musical identity yet still lots of room to constantly surprise you.
The songs are very deep and dark yet each of them is an anthem filled with signatures that immediately get stuck in your head. AlexisD
People may say this is High Spirits' most "mature" record, and it may be, but it does contain quite possibly their best song yet -- "Midnight Sun." bkrush
