lyrics
Up late tonight to write a letter to the dead
Come down and preach to all the astronauts instead
Take back the lies you told when you were on the stone
Go back in time to all those nights you worked alone
Did you know
Did you know
Did you know
Did you know
Pressed against your fear you lie awake in bed
There’s something watching from the ceiling overhead
Just as the twilight burns the truth is coming out
Like a serpent slowly twisting from your mouth
Here comes the sun again
Too young to die
You ducked the gun again
Too young to die
Here comes the day again
Too young to die
You found your way again
Too young to die
Did you know
Did you know
Did you know
Did you know
Can’t stand to feel it in your guts another night
Can’t stand to look another dead man in the eye
Here comes the sun again
Too young to die
You ducked the gun again
Too young to die
Here comes the day again
Too young to die
You found your way again
Too young to die

I can't put words on what's happening in this band since the release of Nucleus. They've found the perfect sound with a strong musical identity yet still lots of room to constantly surprise you.
The songs are very deep and dark yet each of them is an anthem filled with signatures that immediately get stuck in your head. AlexisD

People may say this is High Spirits' most "mature" record, and it may be, but it does contain quite possibly their best song yet -- "Midnight Sun." bkrush
